A few months after it came out for iOS, the app is now available on the Google Play Store for Android smartphones. Even though the buzz around OpenAI’s ChatGPT has died down quite a bit, when it was first released, it gave people a new, fun, and exciting way to talk to AI.
Even though this is just the start, we’ve already seen how robots can be both helpful and troublesome. They have their uses, but it took OpenAI a long time to make its own apps for smartphones that use its technology. The company just released ChatGPT for iOS in May, and now, in some areas, it is finally available for Android users.
The official ChatGPT app is now available in the Google Play Store. 9to5 Google was the first to notice this change. You can download the app by clicking the link at the bottom, or you can look for it in the Play Store. If you’re looking for an app, make sure you take the one that was made by OpenAI. There are a lot of other apps that look like it. Once you’ve downloaded it, you’ll need to sign in with an account you already have or make a new one. When that’s done, you’ll be able to use the same tools as on the desktop version.

But, as we’ve already said, the app is only available in a few places. According to 9to5Google, people in the United States, Brazil, India, and Bangladesh can use it right now. But OpenAI hopes to expand to more places in the next week, so hopefully it will be available to a lot more people soon. If you want to try it out, you can use the link below to get the app. Or, if you want to check out some of the alternatives or learn more about them, you can look at our comparison of ChatGPT, Bing Chat, and Google Bard.
